SR20 SWAP 1/4 time

Customer ran a 13.6 with a SR20DET Redtop swap, only mods one of those cheap SSautochrome exh mani, 3" DP and 10PSI. This was on a pair of BFG drag radials. Imagine a FMIC and a few more PSI............

Hey that u dustin? Yeah tires help everything. I wouldn't expect anything more than 13's on most anything without some sticky rubber.

What's up? $hit you need a SMIC from us still. We're in the process of moving thanks to the state patrol requiring a wrecker license and light industrial zoning for selling our imported parts. Add this to taxes and finding a place I haven't had much fun in the last couple weeks. Didn't think there was very many RB25DET's in flower mound, TX. Got it in yet?

Thats cool. I'm not decided on RB or SR yet. I've requested both and we'll see what they cost and how they are as far as condition. I'm leaning for the SR just because it's light and takes about a day to install. I'm not that hot on having a Ghetto Rigged guage cluster and a bunch of extra wiring, but if I can make the tach work and look nice I might go for the RB.

yeah well im using the rb cluster, dont plan on it being "ghetto rigged" lol ... if i have to custom make mounting brakets to keep it snug i will. Jon Powell will be wiring everything up for me so the harness will be clean ... i can't wait, i gotta stop talking about it its just making me more anxious... lol

That sounds cool. I just don't have the clusters on hand so I can't compare them. I autox so I'm looking at either the RB20 or the SR for the lightweight aspect. The SR is around 500 while the RB20 around 580, then the Rb25 is like 670 or something.
