The understeer can be counterd by stiffer springs/bigger sways in the front.
You mean the other way around... bigger sway bar and stiffer suspension in the front would cause worse understeering...

slap those on the rear and the weight of the engine will actually hold down that front end as the rear swings completely around....

but with all the weight in the front, good luck grabbing asphalt with your rearend and keeping from doing a complete 360.

most of drifting is the driver, then the suspension, and then the engine..... if you don't know the basic concepts... the best way to become a good drifter is to get edumacated

Your right, the way I said it that would counter oversteer correct? (Kinda dumb when it comes to tech. terms)

not to jack the thread about the suspension, but suspension isn't that easy. On a car that's rolling too much a heavier sway bar will increase steering, on a car that is already too stiff it will make it worse. It's all about simply keeping the tire flat on the ground the best you can. Typically a heavier spring/swaybar will help balance out a heavier engine...BUT, the response will be slower as you will have the weight of a bigger engine to try changing it's direction. Like 5.0 mustangs roll the front tires over really bad and wear them on the outoside unless they run some nasty camber in road racing, due to a 1980lb front and 1040lb rear weight dist As for the RB20 vs. SR20 I'm undecided myself. I'm a JDM engine importer and I will be choosing when the next order is coming...(finally- the Toyota Turdcel is getting really old my 240 has a BHG). I am considering these things-I run solo-2, so I don't want a heavier engine. There are 2 more cylinders to have something go wrong with. It will require more custom work than the SR and will need longer to install. The good is it's just different, the SR20 is pretty common. The RB20 would sound really really good. The RB20 comes with a more capable turbo from the factory, and really doesn't need any upgrading internally to make alot of HP. The SR does have better parts support. IN the end I may flip a coin, I really don't know......
