ok i just finished putting in my sr20det into my 91 240sx and im having and issue getting it started. i have gas i have spark all my wiring is good according to like 4 sites i have looked on and it wont go. it turns over but wont go it will backfire once in a while but nothing else

help please

Take out CAS/distributor, rotate stalk 180º and reinsert.

also check you MAF and make sure its not dirty, also make sure its good.

you can un plug the CAS to build oil pressure with out it firing.

if im not mistaking go to heavythrottle.com and they have a trouble shooting guide o get that motor running for ya

ok tried it and now it will fire once and then it feels like the engine completely stops, starter and all. almost as if it were going in the wrong direction

Pull all 4 spark plugs & crank it for a bit, might be over flooded & vapor locked.
