The unheard of swap?!

I have a new project car. I need some professional opinions on this idea. It is a 1995 240sx and happens to be the same color as the one I currently drive (sorry I just can't give up how good it looks). Here is what I was thinking of doing, 280zx L28 turbo. I can get the engine real cheap with low miles and it isn't a turbo but can be easily and cheaply converted. I just don't know if there is enough room longways in the engine bay of the 240sx to accomodate the I-6 motor. I know I have heard of the RB swaps and how good those are going, but what I want to know, is there going to need to be any body work to extend the bay? Is there going to need to be any chasis rebuilding to accomodate the heavier engine? Ok... sorry I am stupid, it probably won't have to have a new chasis considering that alot of the newer electronics would come out. Another question is, does anyone know if the bell housing on the L28 will fit the 5-speed tranny for the 240sx KA24DE? Please get back to me and if I have any updates I will let you know.

you should be able to get the I6 into the engine bay without having to make up more room, how ever, you might have to relocate the steering column some how

I know for a fact that I will not have to relocate the steering column seeing as it is to the side of the KA24DE that is actually slightly wider then the I6 in a 280zx.
