Ok, since they are local,( well kinda) then would I be stupid if I went to pick up a swap, or clip, but made them do a leak down test right in front of me?
what compression should an RB25DET be?

has anyone ever gotten a GOOD motor from them?

Sorry for bring up topics that have already been covered, but just had to know?

I've had 3 good clips and one good motor, had a bad motor that they claimed to have tested, and one of the clips was missing alot of parts that were said to have been there. If they will actually do a leak down test in front of you definately get it. No reason why not if you can check it out. Comp should be around 150-160.

Since they say that they comp test their engines warm...after running them for 5 minutes, make sure they do a warm compression test for you...when they do, the numbers should come out around 170-180 for great compression....anything below 150 and you should look for a different motor.
