You hear about all the engine swaps with sr20det motors and even skyline motors (sr26det?) Is the engine bay big enough for a 300zx motor, or is this pushing the limits of reality(or atleast the pocket book)?

The car Im buying has a blown KA, and Im not even remotely ready to purchase a SR20 yet, but when your looking up motors on ASAPMotors and a 89 300zx motor is cheaper....you get the idea.

Im sure adapting the car for the 300zx motor in the end would be more expensive than just dropping a KA in, but it got my gears going in my head.

And if this is in the FAQ, I appologize, i just dont remember it being touched on.....

The vg30de is heavy and you probably wont get more than 240hp at the crank with mods. Its gonna be extremely expensive to make it fit too. The skyline engine is an Rb26dett.
