i think it's a disgrace how some of u are reacting to this. fine, it's not Nissan, and it's domestic on top of that. if u don't like it, just say so. but the inflammatory comments are most unecessary. that's the kinda **** i'm used to seeing on the oh-so-hated Honda boards. u don't have to accept or approve of what he's done. and it's not like i'm sticking up for him because i'm so in favor of it. however, i think it's different and interesting. just like i wouldn't put chameleon color shifting paint on my car, but i'll look at someone else's. besides, if no one ever tried anything different, then we couldn't have beared witness to the 2JZ in a 240, the SR in an FD, or even our beloved RB swaps. nobody's asking anyone to love it, just don't be so damn insulting...

Some poeple just don;t know their ****. WHats funny is, I've seen some 302's go over 200K boosted. It's a unique swap, and when you pay for the car and labor, then you can *****. You can sit here and argue import VS domestic all day long, whatever, who cares, you buy/do what you like with your car to suit your needs/wants. Congrats on the swap, nice work.

havent you ever seen the video's of the datsun with the chevy V8 in it? the guy hits the gas and it just powerslides leaving 2 LONG black marks on the road. think of it this way...his car is different...from anyone elses...i wasnt even sure a v8 would fit under the hood....does that mean you could fit in a 300zx twin turbo?

Well thanks for the opinions ether bad or good. I would like to clear up y I did this. First off, The car is the car that my daughter
come home in the moter blew at 110xxx and I had already built the 302 for my thunderbird but while I was at work someone slid on the ice and hit it. So now I have a 240 with alot of value to me and the fresh 302. the ka was wasted and they wanted 1200 for a new one so for about 400 I put the 302 in my pride an joy. My daghter is now 4 and every time see sees the car she wants to drive it. so everyone has there own opinion, thats fine with me. yet I know that building this car is a great since of pride. it alsocept my family togeter, by leting all of us have our own part!!!!!!!!!!now u see I am nissan to the core but things happen and here we are. so lol guys and gals and hope your car bring you closer to someone. and good luck!

I would never do it but **** man chill the hell out. Obviously the swap took some enginuity and skill... i applaud him for that but i guess im just more open minded than some.

and i would guess it would make you queezy night, its one less person you can plug yourself to.
