yep, seriously you guys, I'm reading this nice (albeit weird) post about swapping a ford V8 into a 240, and all a sudden its your war against each other... oh wait, I've read this before!!! could it have been in another thread? yep. oh wait, I think I found it in another one too! un freakin believable. shut the f*** up over it or keep it on PM, we're all good and sick of it. plus, what does it have ANYTHING to do with this thread? maybe you two should just meet in person and duke it out, someone will get his *** kicked and that can be the end of it

thanks

Look, I dont wanna start a sh** fest, but night, how were you attacked? It looked to me that you were doing a pretty good job of attacking and flaming tater, along with a few other people. There were only a few of us that stood up for tater. In my replies, I wasn't pointing a finger or singling you out. I was saying that in general for everyone. SO lets just put this whole mess behind us and bury the hatchet. No one is going to kick anyone's ***, cause I don't feel anybody is that dumb to get into trouble.

I'm not trying to start a **** fest with you either. You'd have to have been around here a bit longer...or maybe read more posts to understand the manner of which Dekand posts about 80% of the time. Yes, I flamed him (tater)...why? Principles of engine swaps...anyone who does that kind of crap gets a shiner from other people on the boards....go look up the chevy swap on this same forum.....look how many people flamed him. Nissan is Nissan...why make it unpure? Sure, he did something original...congrats...it's original, do I agree with it? Hell no. I wasn't saying you were singling me out...in fact, I don't care if you reply to my posts on here, but bringing up my business, when you have NO say or no experience with it whatsoever, when you're not a customer of mine or your sole purpose for posting is defamation....which is what a certain someone on this board always done "not to name anyone"....(what a crock of ****)...is just inexcuseable. And no...I'm not talking about you, but I bet you can't guess who I am speaking of.

I love the fact that the car is DIFFERENT. that makes truly one of a kind. How many people can say that? I can't so congrats to you Tator.

P.S. I may be a noob but I thought that forums were for the entushiast (sp?) not to be petty or childish, I come here to learn, get ideas and maybe share a few. But most of is to always keep it positive.

Nissan forum = Nissan enthusiast...so you're right, they are about enthusiasts. Ford Forums aren't for Nissan Enthusiasts...

i didn't see any problems with people swaping in the supra engine into a 240. toyota isn't nissan, but people thought it was cool.

all you gotta do is supercharge that 302 and spank anything. nice install you had, and don't let the nissan ***** get to you.

I agree 100% with you Night. These are Nissan forums and should be kept to Nissan only. I dont wanna act like Im tryin to be up in everyone's business. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. No, I dont know how Dekand generally replies. And my sole purpose for posting is not for defamation, to try to help people with questions or something. That is all Im gonna say. Im sorry for pissing you off night.

Tommy - I wasn't talking about you reguarding defamation or anything else...and you didn't **** me off one bit. You weren't up in my business either, I was speaking of another member of the board...sorry if that part wasn't clear.

Now as far as the Supra swap....Toyota is a VERY reputable engine maker/car maker. They make quality products and are from Japan as well. The 2JZ is arguably the best Inline 6 ever created. It has held almost 1000hp on a stock block and held 800-900hp daily driven on a stock block...THAT IS AMAZING. It's not old technology that uses inefficient pushrods with a central cam gear that lobes over like a b!tch and when it reaches 500-600hp sounds like a dozen trains going down the road that can't idle for the life of it lol....A 2JZ swap is impressive because it's Japanese...it's a GOOD engine, and it's a PROVEN engine.

I would even like to see a 13B or 20B ina 240SX...Rotary's are amazing if you do them right and very light...would be a great drift car.

Thanks Night. Sorry if I misstook what you said. I agree on the Supra 2JZ 6 in a 240. But I still like the RB series better. And I agree on the old technology part, those things sound like an old washing machine after 500-600hp. I think there might be a rotary motor in a 240. Could of sworn it was on this site before. Anyway, maybe this summer, I might be getting an SR for my car, and I probably will order it from you. But that will be for another time. Have a good day Night
