some rust on my 240 just a couple questions on how to fix it

ok so i got an 89 240sx and im trying to figure out how to fix it as far as replacing the rusted panels

its on the inside of the engine bay where the frame meets the body or engine bay (take off the tire reach past the brake and right there) can that be swapped out if i take off the front end pretty much?

and if some1 can do me a favor and look at the little light under the steering wheel and what colo wires are going to it that would be much apreciated

you cant swap it you have to patch and weld it. my 240 is currently bolted.... looks like this but works and my alignment is good.

When I get back I'm cutting it all out and tubing it.

drifters do what they must to stay sideways.

i dont think mine is that bad but i want to fix it asap..... also i saw this thread a couple days ago about swapping a lefthd to a righthd he took out the fire wall of like a front clip of a 180sx (look like he got from the back of the front seats to the front bumper) he made it look like you could drop the engine cut it at the fire wall and maybe find a scrap 240sx at a junk yard

well ether way man i got 1 more question for you i need a speed sensor for a 1989 240sx i got 1 out of a 1995 240sx both automatic but will the s14 work in the s13?

no sir they are different in size... the manual sensors should swap my memory is a little fuzzy.. I know that I use the same sensor with all of my trans swaps. I had two s13 trannies and two s14 trannies never had a speedo issue.

ill verify
