would you buy a 90' hatch (for parts) that is in okay shape but not sure how well it was maintained? it has 345000km's on it and it will not run as of yet, it has a new ECU and fuel pump, and some other parts, it also has the rare bumper (see attachment, it's rare around here i've only seen one 240 w/ this bumper).

I bought my 1990 for $350 & it isnt a parts car.
I actually paid MORE for my parts car( a 1989 for $400) than for my 1990.

BTW, is the car on the cover the one you are buying?

 

no it's not the one i am buying unfoutunatly... it just has that bumper.

so do i, but there is more 91-94 bumprs than the piggy. but i dont have the lip and i really want it, i went to nissan and they said they can't get the lip because it a "US" part, i've also checked other stores, and they don't even know what i'm talkin about.
and it would be nice to have a spare bumper "just in case".

if it runs n u can get it to ur house without having to pay towing fees... i'd say its a maybe for me I would have to check it out personally. I am too looking for a parts car.

Well, my story is that i found an abondoned 240 sitting in a parking lot... traced back tot he owner and got a hold of it for $100, 89' HB 5speed, new clutch ( 10'000 on it ), Cat, Fuel pump, ETC

i lucked out, Now after 3 months of looking i found a nice 90 coupe, automatic, ETC.. time to tranfer the Tranny ETC
