1/4 mile times?

Alright I plan on getting an s13 pretty soon. I want to get a rb25 swap. Do you think its possible to get into 11's or 10's with this motor??? I havn't really seen any really fast 240's around. I also hear that the tranny is what keeps the 240 from getting really fast times. Is there any other tranny that would work better for draging???

Maybe you should get a Camaro or something if you want to Drag race. Just my 2 cents.

RB25 should get you into the 11's...bigger turbo, injectors, ECU, boost controller and etc and get a good LSD(1.5 way since your dragging) With the stock internals you will hit 11's for sure...possibly even 10s with the right modifications and tuning

As far as the tranny goes, you will end up with the tranny that goes with the motor you swap in. The RB25 is from a skyline GTS, so the tranny is also from that.

I dont ever really remember seeing a slow GTS, so you should be fine.

As far as no fast 240's around. You must live somewhere where no one knows about the SR swap. Make sure you spread the word that its a turbo car in Japan

240's aren't meant for 1/4, although they can be. Research RB25 and you'll find out lots. My buddy has a SR here in NH running around 400rwhp. If that isn't enough then I don't know what is.
