I have what might be a real stupid question. Is the 89-94 240 the same as the 180? if not, i see that there are different options for the pop up headlights and was wondering if the pop ups on the 240 are the same as the 180 or is there a conversion you have to do. if i wanted to buy a front bumper and new hood from a 180, will it fit directly with a 91 240? sorry if this has been answered before or if it is real dumb, but i am a tad confused on all the differences. thanx!

 

89-93 240sx hatchback is the same as the 180sx body wise, the 94 is trunkback or coupe which would be closer to a Silvia.

 

s13 popup is s13 popup. the "180" part in the name refers to the engine mostly, not the body. However "Silvia" means coupe.

so just to make sure i am not a complete idiot, if i wanted to achieve the look of the car pictured below, i would need an 89-93 240. and i can do the headlight options like an rx-7 instead of the pop-ups right?

 

94 only came convertible here in the states

 

You are right, you will need an 89-93 Hatchback (Fastback). Check in the style section for s13 flip up headlight mods.
