well, insurance totalled my 95 SE 240 got over 5k, and i paid 5k for the car, so i didnt lose anything.. and in turn just put a down payment on a mitsubishi GSX, T4 charged with 350whp.. hope to buy another 240, no more drifting for now but autocross for sure. wont really be on these forums again, unless i get another nissan. good luck guys, peace.

you know..you could of told em to just give you the 5k and you are willing to pay for the rest of the repairs.

They won't total your car, and you get the value of the car.

 

That's fine, I've totalled my 93 Coupe twice!! Both times got around 5,000 but only spent about 2,000 by repairing it myself. The first time was because I was sick as a dog, but was told I had to go in to work, and rear-ended another car on the way. The second time, I hit an 8-point buck that bashed in my passenger side from the headlight, windshield to the gas door. It's a good thing there's a lot of hatchbacks in the junkyard.....

 

this isnt related to the topic but to what madman said, you know now that I think about it, there are alot of hatchbacks in junkyards. Even here in PA all I see are hatchbacks, I have yet to see a coupe and I've only ever seen one Zenki s14
