240sx quick questions.

I am looking into purchasing a used 1991 Nissan 240sx from a guy my friend knows. What I wanna know is How reliable are 240sx's? His asking price is pretty low at around $1500-$2000. From what my friend said it's a pretty nice one. No real big engine problems, No dents, no accidents. The only thing is it's got 150,000 miles on it. Would a 240sx with 150k miles on it be worth his asking price? considering the description I just wrote. I would be using this for going to school and and just for cruising. I will probably add some aftermarket parts onto it later on too. Any replies would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

Thats an alrite price...the 91 is one of the best years for a 240...if the engine is running good like you said and has no major problems at 150000, chances are it'll still last alot longer, but just check for old wear...

I'd say 1500 would be a good price. And I think for a 91 w/ 150k on it, the engine is not a huge worry. Like hiryu said, you should check other places for wear and tear, those are probably the things that could give you problems.
