92 manual into 96 auto
she's done
GOT it
sideway be me, soon. she ROARED, she ZOOM, but dam the driveshaft too short, she f*cken banging the floor's wall like crazy on high rev. Need to order an S14 manual one piece aluminum driveshaft soon(i think i plug in my reverse sensor wrong, haha no backing up light) but thanks all for everything,
it seems
the mission impossible became possible today
It was indeed the wrong timing and well a cracked sparkplug
so here's to set it straight
an automatic OB2 s14 can use an OB1 s13 engine and tranny. Everything else cames from the auto S14, from harness to intake manifold to exhuast manifold, auto ecu, everything. Just plug all those things and use only 1 sensor, which is the reverse sensor, and splice the clutch lock starter sensor. Recommend getting an S14 manual driveshaft though, since the CA driveshaft I used was too short and well mounting it was a *****, I had to use 2 metal sticks and extended the mounting, don't really work. Should use Redline MT90 for tranny fluid, and recommend buying/renting/borrowing a vaccum to bleed the clutch, casue hell I did it by mouth, I sucked in some of it and it burned my mouth, I sucked the whole resesivor, haha. rinse with water, alot of it!
about the clutch hardline, just go to auto part and buy two brake hardline, i think the max length they got is 5 feet so you need 2, and order the brake line for the slave cylinder. Then stop by rockie or any home depot places and pick up a 3/16 compression set.
Trust me it was a long while, I had been very depress for a month now, and finally I'm very happy. Even though I'm not driving her yet, I'm still happy inside knowing she's working. My power window problem came back as soon as I started the 5 speed swap, but that is the last thing I need to work about. I'm just happy right now. Thanks again, I want to put most of my thanks to Orion, he had been replying to all of my mail and answered all of my questions, thanks alot Orion. I'm a mail you 10 bucks as soon as you give me your paypal account. I can't do 100 since I need the money for other things.
Oh yea over all I didn't spend much but I spend more than I expected, just the fluid for the swap itself was costing me like 60 bucks, the clutch line and the compression bolt was like 15 bucks total, the brake line was 10 bucks, two intake manifold gaskets was like 10 bucks too, male and female connector for the wiring was like 10 bucks as well, I got the free tranny and engine from my brother, now the driveshaft, hmm that might the most expensive part of the swap, haha. but yea I'm just happy. thanks again.
