Make sure all your intake sensors are connected, spark plug wires are in the correct order, and replace your fuel filter..... (I swapped mine out for a Z32 fuel filter.... can't remember if I noticed the difference or not)

does it stall like... you dont have your clutch in when you stop?

If so, try bleeding your clutch... dont know if it will help, but worth a try

First run an ecu diagnostic. This should be done before assuming the failure of component's that may not be faulty.Diagnostics pulls up any faulty equipment that won't function correctly to the consult, located on the motherboard of your ecu.
Actron code scanner is a cheap diagnostic checker made for OBD1 and OBD2.
You can get them at

I believe the books are $30.00, and an actual code scanner with voltage detection is around $250...
What you described can be a numerous amounts of problems from egr purging from the temp sensor throwing the wrong voltage. To a IACV that is plugged up from to much exhaust crap. Even your PCV, or maybe even a vacuum line that came lose.
It could just be as simple that you haven't replaced plugs/wires/distibutor rotor at the 30,000 mile check point.
