is it bad...

is it bad to have melting plastic on a heat shield for my exhaust? well.. besides that smell giving headaches??

any ideas on how to remove the melting plastic? or should i just wait for the plastic to melt completely.. thanks

...I'm interested in knowing... what part of the exhaust specifically, and do you know where the plastic is from?!?!

it was prolly a plastic bag of some sort that i threw out the passenger door when i pulled over to drop some stuff off at a friends and rolled under my car.. its all up on the heat shield that covers the piping after the header and befor the cat..

Litter bug! J/K, just wait for it to melt off. I ran over some plastic bag a while back and it got stuck on my cat, stank like hell for a while then it burnt off.

cuz damn.. its been on there for about 3 weeks now.. and my car is daily driven.. oh well.. guess i have to wait a little longer..

You sure its a plastic bag? The one that got stuck on my cat melted off after about 30 min on the freeway.
