Best engine for 240 swap.

I (and my family) havent had a car yet here in MN thats had to have a visual or emissions test
or in illinois... or florida.
just buy 'em and drive 'em
we do pay a ton for plates. the plates/tabs for our 2000 durango were over 300 dollars when it was new, and they are still over 250 right now.
my 240 was 40 dollars this spring, and its 13 years old

There's also the possibility of a VG30DE(TT) swap. I heard it does take a lot of work though. A lot of fabrication and such. But imagine that beastly engine under the hood of a 240. Front-midship layout too I've read somewhere since the engine is not as long as most inlines. It can't me shoved back a bit. Good for car balance I suppose.

well, im a little late in the thread, but, i plan to get the RB25. If the custom work is pushing you away...
Look at This
Go down slowly, and you shall see the conversion kit. The total is $1150, but hey, if your buying the rb25, you atleast know you will be spending some cash..
Definately a good deal if you ask me. If you look at Night7Racing, just the mounts for the conversion are $400
hope that helped some

IMO, i think people should start to look at rb20's they are cheaper and have more power, not a lot, but they are better, and pretty much bolt on like the sr20, other than new mounts, and some cutting, everything else just bolts in.

HOLY COW not another one of these...
... I think the best engine for this thread is the SEARCH ENGINE
You guys will find so much if you use that little gray button up above... and don't get all feelings if I sound harsh - but seriously I'd bet all your answers are already in the forums.
