my question is if you put the max boost lvl on the boost controller less then the stock accuator will it go there or will it default to the stock psi?

im asking cause im boosting around 9.9psi stock and i just installed my avc-r and i put it at 0.50kgm2 which is about 7psi to be safe on my test drive but it went to 9.9psi on the boost guage.

so i want to know if this is the case so i can safely put the boost where i want it.
