S14_Turbo, if you havent seen the pm, I suggest you look? :-D
When I passed her, I gave her the "your retarded and need to go back to traffic school" look. she looked at me once, dropped her phone and decided not to look back at me (I kept pace with her for about two miles before I let her go)
Just this past Monday (labor day) I was about 2 blocks from home, the road I was on has 2 lanes of traffic both ways. The direction I was going, left lane, you have to turn left, right lane, you go straight. Im in the right lane and all of a sudden I have the urge to look at this subaru. Sure enough, as I clear the intersection, the subaru flat out cuts me off right into my lane... literally a sharp right turn from her into my lane. Mind you, I had maybe 10 ft to react. In the blink of an eye, I slammed on my breaks, slammed on the clutch and smashed my horn... none the less, she pulls even harder into my lane to stop. I had a cloud of tire smoke about 12 ft high and all she does is jump back into the left lane... Needless to say, I pulled right up next to her looking right at her. I was about 6 inches from the foot high curb on the right and about a few inches away from her fender when I fully stopped.
At this moment I would like to thank God for super heavy 350Z rims and my R32 GTR front breaks. Not to mention allowing me to drive for so long and getting the tires warmed up and super sticky... Got home, couldnt even play Counter Strike cuz I was shaking from so much adrenaline. Goes to show, best way to build up a car is by doing suspension and breaks first.
Back to subject, sorry to hear about the car bro. but yeah, buy that thing back! worth the money, believe me.
probably let be claimed totaled, thats a lot of frame work, just glad youre ok.... hope everything works out for you
nice man! get that 240. and ya were all brothers here and some sisters haha yes even stig.

I faxed the full police report to the insurance company and 4 hours later i got a call saying they got approved and will be reimbersing me so on tuesday or wednesday they will be coming over to give me an estimate finally!. also today i sold my 300zx calipers for $350 so its been kind of a good day so time to end it nicely with a nice dinner haha.

Claim totalled on the vehicle. Then you can go to the public auction and buy the car back at pennies to the dollar and fix it up... Your wreck isn't that bad, all it did was damage the crumple zones, and open the air bags... really it's just minor stuff.
Actually, he doesnt even need to go to the auction. He just needs to let the adjuster know that he intends to keep the chassis regardless, then if it is totaled, its whatever FMV is minus about 1000 from buy-back and deductible.
Ive been through this with 2 of my previous S14 and my first civic.
Im sure you guys would rather go through with that then what happened with my second S14... wake up to find your hood is now all wavy... then the rest of the body is all wavy... and the paint is all keyed up... and... yeah... I pissed off some ricer badly that night... then to go and find out my insurance totaled the car and then low balled my ***. I paid 7K for it, they only gave me 3K and a "Im sorry this had to happen to you"... so I told them to f*k off and picked up the chassis back for 500. and yeah, this was back before drifting and initial D made our cars popular.
Oh yeah Vinnie, can you still get those pulley kits? or even the drive shafts? after that kid busted that crap shoot jenky S14 shell, I decided to keep the money and go get something else LOL

Buy back should not be more than 1000... Check out how many 240's are up for sale in your area and find the average. You should be expecting the average from the number of 240's for sale in your area within I think 50 miles? When I had allstate, they searched within 50 miles of your zip code.
But for sure, you should think about buying the car back, its worth every penny. Trust me.
