Catback same on KA and SR?

Catback same on KA and SR?
Can an aftermarket catback system, IE: HKS or Apexi, fit on BOTH a SR20 and KA24? I ask this because i currently am runnin on the stock KA and im thinking of buyin the catback now while i have the KA and use it and bolt it up the SR20 once i get the motor. Will this work?

Although for the SR the exhausts are generally 3in due to being turbo while for the KA or an N/A engine exhausts are usually 2.5, meaning that the 3in exhaust will be loud as **** until you go turbo/swap
