yeah its probably not the same..but thanks for replying *****!!

the thing is that in the SR "clip" the harness came out on the passenger's side meaning the chip was mounted on the passengers strut side (meaning my 240's drivers side)
but my harness comes out on my passengers side (other side) so do people extend the entire chip or just the individual connectors to the other side?
…confusing **** when you read it..lol

I mounted my ignitor chip behind the strut tower near where the harness passes through the firewall. There should be 2 holes there and i just zip tied it throught the holes using a couple of those rubber mounts for any vibration. Works great it's no where near any heat source and I didn't have to extend a single wire for the ignition. I'll post up some pics tomorrow if your interested in seeing.

Here's the pic... Just reminds me I have to finish organizing a bit, but I'm lazy... If your abs stuff is in the way you can just get creative and mount the chip pretty much anywhere around that area and you won't have to worry about extending ALL those wires.

Yeah thanks thats exactly what i did, i put the chip basically right on the strut tower last night, put my abs back and wired most of it back, and to tell ya the truth it dont look too bad at all, just FULL.
