Clutch feeling soft?

OK.....here is whats up, I drove a 94 Accord yesterday and the clutch was much stiffer than mine, and also the engagment started rite when you started lifting your foot up. Would bleeding the slave and master cylinder fix this?
Thank You
Ryan

stock clutch? just been replaced? The clutch on my 90 celica was stiff, that thing shot back are you, you had to push your foot hard. The engagement is moreso how much clutch is left, if it has lots of clutch then it will catch further down, whereas my celica would catch right at the end of letting the clutch out.
All cars have different feels to them.

you could also take some fluid out,it will catch faster but it will be spongey.

accord - clutch cable
240 - hydrolic clutch

i thought my ACT 6-puck w/ heavy duty pressure plate would be hardcore to push in like a civic's.. but i was wrong.. and thats what my friend told me.. it engages pretty high than when i had it installed but still grabs like its life depended on it
