clutch problem
i'm having a problem with my clutch...it's about 1/2 inch from me pushing it all the way down...it will start the car but it wont go into gear...and when i drive it it's like i have no clutch because it's not goin all the way down...also it's not popping out like it should it just stays that 1/2 inch from the bottom....and theres a leak where it goes through to the other side of the car where it meets the matter...can any one help me? or any suggestions???
I replaced the slave cylinder on my car last year, I believe the part is between $20-$30 at autozone.
I would also remove the clutch damper box, and the soft line between the hard clutch line and the slave cylinder.
You will get a better clutch pedal once you connect the hard line directly into the slave cylinder.
If you need to I can try to find the how to online, or you can just try to google the subject.
GOOD LUCK!

you can see where the clutch slave cylinder is, and how to remove the damper box at my Garage Guide website (check the sig). It shouldn't cost more than $50 for a new slave cylinder and some bottles of fluid.
