I replaced the slave cylinder on my car last year, I believe the part is between $20-$30 at autozone.

I would also remove the clutch damper box, and the soft line between the hard clutch line and the slave cylinder.

You will get a better clutch pedal once you connect the hard line directly into the slave cylinder.

If you need to I can try to find the how to online, or you can just try to google the subject.

GOOD LUCK!

you can see where the clutch slave cylinder is, and how to remove the damper box at my Garage Guide website (check the sig). It shouldn't cost more than $50 for a new slave cylinder and some bottles of fluid.

Nope, it's right on the passenger side of the bellhousing. jack up the side of the car and it will be staring right at you.

I thought you needed a bradied steel hose to replace the rubber one. Can you just attach the hard line to the slave?

no you can bend the hardline to reach the end of the rubber hose. Like I said, take a look at the guide I wrote, there's pictures too.

My car had the clutch damper already removed when I bought it, but I thought you meant the rubber hose that comes after the metal tube. Should that be replaced?
