A coming to Jesus!!!

Alright. Its sad to say but i almost thought about selling my 240 and buying a camaro. I just cant part with her. I want to start fresh and do this project right. My plan is to make her a daily driver but also have the power and handling to have a little bit of fun on the side. I have limited funds for now but the money is coming. I really need to install a new clutch for now. It is pretty much shot. I put on a new master cylinder and slave cylinder and the clutch still acts like the car is in neutral about half the time when i put my foot on the floor. Its really annoying. I was wondering if a clutch install is relatively easy or should i get a mechanic to do the work for me. Anyways any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Im pretty sure i want to go ahead and get the clutch fixed and then start with all new suspension components. Do u guys think this would be the right way to go? Thanks.

I just did my clutch, it was a long process, but it was the first thing i have really done on a car. It wasn't that hard really, you just gotta know what to do. Here is what helped me, Biggamehit wrote this writeup:

You should probably change your clutch as soon as possible, your gonna start messing up your **** if you keep reving it when it is slipping. You might blow up your clutch or flywheel. That wouldnt be good. Goodluck.

No im not getting a camaro anymore. I was going to get a v6 body so it would be cheaper on insurance and the drop in a edelbrock crate motor. I have changed my mind and decided to stay with the 240... Anyways. Thanks for the help. Im still not sure if i want to tackle this myself or let a mechanic do it. It all depends on what my mechanic will charge me. Thanks Again..

i still might get the camaro with the crate motor later just to build as a weekend drag car but for now i want to build my 240. I am starting off with my clutch this weekend and then comes all new suspension. I have to get rid of that 18 year old suspension.
