crash worthiness

we all had experiences. is it me or is the s13 just very weak structurally. maybe its because of age or standards back then but it seems the body panels/bumpers/frame is just very easily damaged

well, unibodies are easy to mess up if hit... body panels are sheet metal, what do you expect? bumpers are only made to withstand hits under 5 mph

I think they do good. I mean most people that drift into the side of a mountain in Japan have survived. lol. But seriously, they seem to keep the occupants safe, wich is what matters in an accident.

Interesting, I thought the Driver's side rating would be better for the S14 because of the dual impact beams.
