fair price for replacing timing set ???

How much is fair to replace the upper and lower timing chains, and tensioners????

hmmm depends on what shops charge. Standard your looking close to 800 bucks or more. If you know people it would be cheaper but 800 would be the price you might be looking at. Ever since i got mine fix i would have to agree that would be my besty upgrade ever.

damn. thanks.

My LOWER chain tensioner was bad. They replaced ALL then tensioners, guides and chains for 400 including new parts. The parts were not nissan dealer parts, but i figure new cheap parts are better than old worn out ones.


The only thing im not too happy about is the fact that he put in the UPPER timing chain guide. Its a factory recall to take them OUT!!!!

I might take it back to have it removed......
