Fireplug Vs. All (video!)

For 3 pics of the car and a modlist, check here. http://www.club240.com/forums/showth...threadid=11432
Otherwise here's the video and race descriptions.
http://web.njit.edu/~mcl3/hosted_pic...domination.wmv
1st race: Me Vs. 1gen Talon (AWD) with intake, full 3" exhaust, 255 fuel pump, ACT 2600 clutch, weight reduction, blow off valve, boost controller, hard pipe (upper intercooler pipe). I let off early in third...

2nd race: Same car, I didn't let off early...same result.

3rd race: Me vs. Supercharged H22 prelude...not turbo'd. Jackson racing supercharger, DC header, exhaust from header back, Full CAI, aftermarket clutch, Kuhmo drag radials, that's all I can remember.

4th race: Me vs. LS turbo hatch. Spearco FMIC, Intake, 2.5 exhaust, XS 2 stage boost controller, Blitz DualDrive b.o.v. JE pistons, Eagle Rods, Balanced, Blueprinted, aftermarket cams, BFGoodrich Drag radials, external wastegate (Turbonetics), aftermarket manifold, some type of fuel controller, T3 turbonetics turbo. ACT clutch That's all I can remember. NOTE: I'm at 10lbs of boost on this run.

5th race: Same LS hatch, still at 10lbs. of boost. Let off in 3rd and hit brakes..

6th race: Same LS hatch, different location, Slept the launch (notice flagger and my reaction... ) bad launch..still won. [Back to regular boost]

Last race: Me vs. 2001 Mustang GT with 3.73 gears, intake (Mac?), H-pipe, flowmaster exhaust, BFGoodrich drag radials, SPEC Stage III clutch...think that's all?.

even though I hate street racing. looks like an OK race.
If that 1g has a stock 14b then it can easily do low 13's with those mods. So you must be close. If it has a 16g it can get into the 12's w/ a 1.8 60ft

It looks like you got him off the line..how I dont know, unless you run slicks. Or he left at idle.( the shot while he is in the car at the very begining, he wasnt pushing the car at all)
Dont know much about the driver of the 1g but you got him. So thumbs up to ya.

You running a low 13 1/4 mile with about 2.0 60ft's?

It does have a 14b still on it. I only ran once at the track last year. I ran on an open differential and worn drag radials. I got 3 runs in, first 2 were at stock boost (forgot to turn it up) and I ran a 14.3 my first run and 14.1 my second run. My 3rd (and Final) run that night I turned the boost up and took off....however I missed 3rd gear and ran a 13.7. I've beat numerous 13.5-low 13 seconds cars on the street though...I'd venture to say my car is a low 13.

The very beginning of the tape isn't even anyone racing. That's a guy in an automatic Neon following me w/ the camera...He just wanted to hear the bov...You'll notice I give it a little gas...then let off....then give it a little gas again...I wasn't fully on it. He's in a Neon.

Nope, that's an 8. It's a 2001 GT with the mods listed above....that's pretty much how it goes with me and v8 Stang's...Those Nitto drag radials hook pretty well.
