Thumbs up GOT SR? Fireplug's Hatch

My 1993 hatch w/ S13 Blacktop SR20DET.

Good shot of the Blitz FMIC

Gauges, boost controller, turbo timer...

Note: Vertical fins on the head...blacktop.

Shot of the Dual-guage pod.

Finally...my rear strut tower bar.

I posted my car a while ago (winter) when it was all torn down...well...here she is now!

The swap

My father and I did the swap ourselves. the strut tower bars are Pilot Motorsports Strut tower bars. It was not a front clip, it was the engine, tranny, ecu, etc. everything that you need. The swap went very well. There were close to no problems. The only "major" problem for us was installing the motor/tranny. It'll be easier to put them in the engine bay together. We tried it seperate and it's a ***** b.c the SR's bellhousing is thicker than the KA's. The other problem was the downtime of putting the motor together....The guy who sold it to me had everything stripped apart b/c he had plans to build up everything. Instead he's putting in a RB26 now. So we had to re-assemble everything.
