Fog Light question

Ok, have a friend going to Japan next week for his vacation, and hes going to try to pick me up a few parts . I already have a line on a few parts that we know he can get for me over there w/o a problem.

One of them are the fog lights. Now seeing as I have a base model, what else am I going to need to hook up the fogs? I know the wiring is already there on the car for the fogs, but what about the switches. Since they only came on SE's, do I need the collar and switchs off of an SE colum for this to work? I am going for an OEM install here, I don't want toggle switches all over the place in my car.

can you tell him to get me the s13 jdm lights? as for the fogs, you vould just cut into the oem harness, or wire them like they are new lights

Well, the oem harness is already there for the Fogs. Thats why I was wondering about the switch setup from the SE on the colum.

I'll ask him to see what he can do. I'm giving him money up front to pick me up some stuff, I dont know how much spending money he'll have with him since it is his vacation.

Send me a pic of what they look like, and I'll pass it on to him so he can look for them while hes abroad.

I did it on my s14. What you need is a relay that you can either buy from Nissan or in a scrapward + you need to replace your left steering arm. You can install a switch but I prefered buying the relay and the used arm.
BTW the brackets that the USDM fogs are installed on are different then the JDM. You will need to get USDM bracket for the fog to be able to fit.
