Unhappy got worked.

So yesterday my friend(92'prelude) and I were bored and decided to run'em. Needless to say, I got worked, I mean both of our cars are stock except he has an intake which is poop so I dont think that really counts anyway. We went from a stop and towards the end he started pullin(I missed third gear, maybe that's why?), i'd say i was towards the end of his door almost to the tail lights.. I only posted this up cause it bothered me, I was amazed on how much he pulled on me, maybe it was my driving? idk, what do you guys think? does that sound about right? 92prelude(roughly 160hp) > 91'240(roughly 155hp)? I do realize that, that isnt how much hp they get to the wheel but yeah. Sorry if this post sounds "rice", I'm just curious about the outcome.

btw, his car is automatic, mine isnt.

sorry if this isnt the place to post this but I couldnt find anywhere else.

u should have won, maybe practice launching your car better and shifting quicker, you should have a big enough lead off of the line that the little bit more of hp he has cant compensate for his lack of torque. Not saying you should kill him, but you should win.

yep its driver ... especially if hi is auto. You should practice launching. I launch around 2,300-2,700 but DONT floor it is like:

1. Launch
2. 1/2 Throttle
3. Tires grip
4. Floor it

Your car doesn't has 155HP right now, maybe you got dirty injectors, not brand new sparkplugs, dirty air filter, half way trough Gas filter, carbon in combustion chamber, a Non-perfect O2 sensor. there are many things that will cause your 240 to loose power. I don't remember the magazine, but they wanted to make a 240 turbo. It was a 95' and it only had 134 HP. So yeah, keep it updated!!!
