A flip chip or piggyback might work, but still, why would you want to go over 120??? At that speed your either going to kill yourself or somebody else eventually.

Don't quote me on this but I belive AEM makes something that will let you bypass the fuel cut off/rev limiter... I could be wrong though. Try giving AEM a call or an email explaining what you want to do and give them your car's make/model/year and they should be able to tell you if it exists or not.

Also, I don't think it matters if your spedo works after 120 as it only goes to 120...

ok now where do i get one lol......

edit: the chip i mean...... AEM... anyway..... You can always get aftermarket guages that go past 120.... is it so wrong to want to know your car can do over 150 mph?...... just knowing that boosts ur self esteem.... lol

I have no idea. Try contacting AEM (if you didn't do that yet) and they should be able to tell you if it even exists... They should also tell you the name of a vendor online or a local shop in your area that carries it.

Do me a favor though and let me know if you find one. I'm interested in what they go for. (For some reason I have never had my revs limited or the fuel cut off in my 96 manual)

As for aftermarket guages that go past 120mph... To each their own. If I'm going over 120 I don't want to be looking at my spedo... I would be more concerned with watching the track, other cars & my tach.

That is just me though. Nothing wrong with wanting a nice spedo replacement that looks stock but reads higher.

going 150mph on stock 240sx suspension would be scary... although I did do 135mph in my 89 prelude stock...felt like I was floating, and was about to start flight. lol

Agreed. I have decided to delay any future hp upgrades until after I have the money to get the suspension done.

good call.. suspension and brakes are must as far as I see it... if you're going to go fast, you need to be able to stop, and control your car.

Just so it's clear, I was only talking about my plans, not judging your set up.

HKS makes one.. Hmm I'll have to talk to them about it, or at least read about it. Thanks for the info.

Don't know if I would buy one but it's a cool idea.
