grinding suspension (pics)

sooo i get this really loud *** grind in my suspension when i make a fairly sharp left turn and today my dad and i jacked up the car and took a look, now neither one of us is an expert car mechanic but we think we found the problem, he also said looks like we could replace it fairly easily but we need some booklet (sorry the name has slipped my mind)
wat do u guys think?

Looks like a oozing oem TC rod bushing needs to be replaced. I replaced mine a while ago. It's really easy to replace if you got a press.

shouldn't be over 100 bucks. That is easy to replace with the right tools.

no more than 1 hour.

You might still want to get the TC rod/bushing changed even if the grinding noises are gone. A worn bushing like that leads to knocks when turning at full lock and makes for weird feeling steering at highway speeds.

Unfortunately, Nissan does not sell bushings seperately, but the entire tension rod is available from them. I paid $55 for mine. If you have access to a press, you can buy a set of replacement bushings for the cost of one new tension rod...

The rod itself is pretty easy to remove - it's held in place by three bolts.
