Unhappy headlight problem

I have a problem with my 240, my driver side headlight only works on high beam. Do i need a new globe or just replace the bulb?

You're out of Low-Beam fluid. It can be hard to come by sometimes, as it's usually only a dealer item.

well i dont wanna be a killjoy, but you did ask a legitimate question... so here goes.

Your 240 is like most other 240's out there, and has sealed beam headlights. right? There's a reason its called a sealed beam unit. you cant replace just the bulb. Go out and get a whole new headlight "globe" as you call it. Unscrew your old light, put your new one in, and tada! you have fully functional headlights again....

and purp.... youre an ***... but that was quite funny... kudos

get some H4 conversion lamps (hit ebay if you want), and then buy regular headlight bulbs if you're worried about throwing away that pretty globe..

I mean come on. Isn't it kind of obvious about the headlight. Its a single sealed peice. One bulb for High and Low beam. Low beam goes out, buy a new one and replace it. But it was funny.

General car maitence like this is contained within the user manual of EVERY car. If not even that, any parts store can tell you the exact same thing. If you're too lazy to take 30 seconds to look it up in a cars manual, vs. taking 2 min to post about it on the internet... you deserve a smartass answer.

General and common sense maintence.
