i think my 240 is eating a LOT

i put about 15 bucks in yesterday ( new jersey ) about 3.19 per gallon...

and i run a lot back from work to going to pick up my friend ...

and it seems like im doing about 20 mpg... and it's mostly highway

so i was just curious on what the average guys are running on this board...

btw... stock engine... with intake... which probably won't do that much of a diff in gas

I got around 20~25 out of a S13 SR on 93.
Around 35~40+ out of a Z5 1.5l Protege on 89.
And 40~50 out of a Yamaha FZ6 on 87(!!!)
Gas prices are kicking my 240 in the *****.

I'm getting 29 mpg in a '86 300ZX with 180,000 miles on the odometer. It's definitely not a new engine either. At least one of the hydraulic lifters doesn't hold pressure.

I practically saved it from the last owner. The timing belt had zero tension on it and the rear brakes didn't work. The cooling fan was about to grenade and the transmission had about one ounce of oil in it.

Full tune-up, fresh fluids, still going strong.

Sorry for deviating from the topic, I just think that it's an amazing car.
