HELP! cannot take out O2 sensor

HELP! cannot take out O2 sensor

well I tried to take it out but I ended up broke it and the bolt part is still on the header. what can I do?

try using adjustable pliers and a lot of rust penetrant to get it out

they make a socket to remove an o2 sensor... that is what it was made for... and you can get a lot more leverage with a ratchet and a breaker bar to remove em... that and lots of penetrating oil...

...and use a rust penetrant next time (just around the threads, don't get it on the wire!), it'll prevent bolts seizing up on you like that

no seriously though. good sugestions above. if anything you can heat it up a little with a torch... worked good for me.

I recomed PB Blaster as opposed to WD-40 as it is much more harsh and works much better.

thanks for all the advise. I finally got it out after driving it for a while. I guess my header was just too cold. hehe

pb blaster is frikkn sweet!
but a word of caution on it, don't get it on anything but metal. it melts through anything plastic/rubber
