Alright I need to pic your guys brains....I am looking to spend around 3k for a 240sx.....here are some of my major questions..

1. what years are the 240SX made?
2. Any years I should stay away from?
3. These are rear wheel drive right?
4. what kind of power do these things come with stock?
5. Gas mileage? how bad is it?
6. Overall are these cars fairly reliable? what are some of the problem areas if any?


Umm that's all I can think of at the momment.....any other info you want to pass on I would appreciate....I am sure I will come up with other questions...

Im ganna answer a couple, but search and you will find the rest, trust me.

1.89-90 240sx with a KA24E
91-98 240sx with a KA24DE
2. 94 only had convertables

Thanks...I posted this really before looking at the site much....but I think I have decided on getting a 95' S14.....I like that body style the best....

I have a 1991 nissan 240sx I am putting up for sale.The reason im selling is for a convertable.The car is in great condition and has like 150,000 miles.In the last week its had the following done to it: New timing chain(have receipts totaling 470.00 not including the chain kit which was a buck 80),Just got a brand spankin new clutch installed today and also the slave cylinder was replaced and all new lines,the flywheel was turned also.Now with a list of stuff done to it within the last year....
Intake with arospeed intake
Pacesetter headers
Custom 2 1/2" exhaustw.high flow exhaust
New falken 205/15s in the rear
Asp racing underdrive pulley and new belts.
shift boot.
theres tons more **** to list but i just dont feel like listing it all.

Anyways,The car has all power options including cruise,power windows,etc.The latch on the sunroof needs replaced because I locked myself out of my car the one day and by god it was cold,so I broke the latch on the sunroof cause I had no spare....

It is pearl cherry red in color and need some touchup here on the front bumper and on the right fender.

The car got some amazing ***** for a car somewhat close to stock.It pulls like it has a nice little turbo in it.

Im asking 3650.00 for it.Trust me you wont go bad.

I also forgot to mention that I changed the differential fluid,and the manual tranny fluid.I use mobile 1 oil in my car cause its the best and make sure to change it every 3000 miles.
