I got a problem finding my IAT sensor. I have an AEM cold air intake that was on there when i bought the car. I know the IAT is supposed to be in the air box, which i don't have anymore because of the cone filter. I don't see any wires goin to the intake tube besides the MAF. Where can the IAT be, i'm lost, need help please.

 

what, did you buy one of those ebay things? because if you did, they don't really do anything, I had one on my prelude... they're like $5 or something?

 

yup bought one of those resistor things for a buck. I'm not goin to use it, heard bout how they don't do anything. Plus whoever had the car before me and put on the cold air intake just cut the IAT off, so, oh well, only a buck wasted.

 

I called the Nissan Dealership lookin for my 92 240 SE and they said that the dual cam engines don't have an IAT

 

yeah, i'm pretty sure they don't...the only that plugs into any of the intake is the MAF sensor... on my prelude it was on the back of the intake manifold.

 

DOHC doesn't have it as far as I know, my 91 didnt, but my 90 does
