A 240 overheating? this is new...

Ok i hate to repost something over and over but i want step by step insturctions as to what or what isnt going on....

That being said my car is overheating pretty badly causing me to pull over and stop the car often on a trip. It's always stop and go traffic. Anyway The coolant is bright green, and from I can see there is no oil in it. I turn the car on without the radiator cap on and I think, at max there was a teeny tiny drop that came out, so im not sure if that counts as overflowing. I started it up on a hill, and loosened the bleeder screw, nothing was coming out, no air bubbles no coolant. I left it loose for like 3 minutes while the car was at normal temp and nothing and had to shut it down when the coolant was ready to come over the top of the radiator cap.

So as you can see i read drnovascotias step by step but the real question is why is nothing coming out of the bleeder screw? is it a stuck bubble? Thermostat?
