check the alt fuse think is 75, in the fuse box under the hood. friend of mine did it before and we checked everything. ended up being that. had to get it from the factory. check if thats it, might save you a headache.

 

My alternaotr fuse couldnt even save my alternator. When I jumped mine backwards it smoked like a **** though.
