Installation Questions

Hey guys. Just wondering if you could answer a few questions of mine. I purchased a Tein Basic Coilover kit for my 95 240SX SE. Now I installed them a few weeks ago along with some Tein tension rods.
<- Coilover kit | Tension Rods ->

Only problem I've been having so far is that I noticed that the stock mounts for the suspension are worn out. So I purchased Tein Pillow Ball upper mounts. I also noticed that one of my tie rod boots (passenger side) was torn. (I've been hearing some popping or creaking when I turn... I figured that was the problem) So I ordered Tein Tie rod and Ends.
<- Pillow ball mounts | Tie rods and ends ->

My question now is... do I need to get new bushings, bump stops, etc. from NISSAN to install the new pillow ball mounts. In other words do I need any peices off the OEM parts to use when installing the new mounts? and... Will the owm Tie rod boots fit on the Tein Tie rod boots and ends? If so am I suppose to put boots on them or are they built to last without the boots?

nice little picture show you got goin there.

OKAY:

1. The pillowball upper mounts should come with everything you need to attach them to your Basics. When you go pillowball, you don't use anything from the stock upper mounting area except for maybe the 3 nuts on top that hold the damper to the shock tower.

2. OEM tie rod boots will fit Tein rods.

3. Yes the boots are there for a reason - to keep the tie rod joints and the internals of the rack and pinion clean and free from road debris.

BTW I'm wondering how much did you pay total for the Basics + pillowball upper mounts?

Side note: Popping and breaking doesn't come from a tie rod BOOT - however a torn tie rod boot can be the cause of something else poppinga nd creaking in the steering assembly.,, thus the answer above, #3 again.

cost...

Well I got the Basics for 700 and the Mounts (front and rear) for 250 so about 950 altogether for basic kit + mounts including shipping. I was gonna go with Tein super drift, but right now I just dont have the money. lol

Just making an observation... at $950 you weren't that far off to being able to get SD's (which have adjustable length and dampening adjust)
