i am looking at at buying an 89-92 s13 and i dont have too much cash for the car. im swapping an sr20 into it and i was wondering whether or not i should just buy a used car or if i should get a car from the junkyard that doesnt have an engine or body damage. my friend said that a car from the junkyard was really hard or exspensive or something to insure so i shouldnt do it but i figure if im getting a body kit, racing seats and a new engine it would be worth it to get a junkyard car with a straight frame. what do you guys think?

 

I have never heard of a junkyard car being more to insure. Your friend could be right but I have never heard of it.
