Sorry that the oil filter was a bad example, but what I was trying to imply is that it will be harder to get some parts for the sr than the KA.
Just wanted to jump in and say that everyone should calm down! man, you people are getting too worked up. At this rate the younger generation will die at an early age from stressing out over stupid stuff. One thing I have noticed though, people who go with KAs tend to be very emotional about it, why is this. Do you feel the SR has become trendy? Also,I have a funny point to make that will probobly get me picked on, but even though the KA came in the US model, wasn't it assembled in Japan, check the VIN. We could go on and on about pros and cons of KAs and SRs. In the end you go with one or the other, never knowing if you really made the better choice for yourself. Just gotta think abut it becuse either way you will be spending a lot of money in the long run, so you better be happy whichever one you choose.
^---i just like a bigger possible engine..
considering the price of an SR swap, is the same as turboing the KA, i'd rather skip the hassles of finding the engine, prepping, installing, then trouble shooting...
besides, i like to keep the car the way it came..
i dont like swaps, i see it as a sex change operation, sure it looks/runs good, but we all know what it is underneath.
