I have a 89 240-auto and it only has 78k on it. The lady before me did all regular maintanance. Recently she installed new injectors, new fuel pressure regulator, new cap, ignition rotor, pcv valve, new wires. When i start the car it starts up fine but seems to idle rough. it seems to shake un-normally but never dies. Then sometimes when im stopped my car starts to sound like a diesel truck. It doesnt smoke or overheat or make anyother noises, just that diesel sound sometimes. Does anyone know what could cause that rough idle and noise?

 

You can start by checking the plugs (you didn't mention if she replaced them), check the base timing, check the fuel filter, check for any cut or loose vacuum hoses, check MAFs voltage, Idle and TPS voltage too.

That should be enough to start with
