Unhappy Leaky Suroof

I have a 93 Coupe SE and the sunroof is leaking I dont have a headliner up right now and I want to get the leak fixed of course before putting a new one up I loosened the screws and it looks like it is leaking from around the top seal but here is my question are there any kind of drain tubes that are supposed to be on the inside or how does it work. Do i just need a new seal around the top or what or is it leaking in some other way around the sunroof.

Good luck, I have been trying to get help for my sunroof on the 89. I ended up just siliconing the damn thing shut for now until I can find a REAL fix. And yes, their are drain tubes, they are up front on the very front of the sunroof rails on either side.

The sunroofs leak inside the rail and then it drains thru the tubes , If there is water coming around the seal this is normall , It has to drain down the hoses , There are 2 in the front and 2 in the back part , Check the rain gutter n the backside of the roof also , if the seal on it isnt holding the water so it can run to the sides it will leak inside , You can actually take the glass out , pour some water in the channels and it should exit by the drain tubes , These sunroof glasses do not seal completey and are not supposed too .. Blow air thru you drains and make sure the are cleaned out , check the rear gutter poor water acroos it and see if it runs to the sides and out or if it runs over it and in ( this is bad) ! there acutally pretty easy to fix ! Sometime the screws that hold the gutter in the back come out and the gutter moves around and doesnt catch the water , Its goes acroos the back under the sunroof glass and runs side to side just a metal channel

I didnt realize their were channels in the back...that may be my problem then. Thank you for replying...I already siliconed the sunroof shut, but may take that off if I can get it off.

Keep the area around the sunroof clean and ...

those gutters get block easily by grime and dirt if you dont keep this area clean. Get use to clean it every time you wash the car or every other month (depending of how often you drive your car topless)..... I think Spddracer really cover all the details in this issue in an excellent manner.
