lights camera action

Ok... here s the thing... i want my blinkers in the back to flash faster ... in other words i want to get lower voltage bulbs so they will blink faster but not stay lit.... i know if one bulb goes out then the other stays lit because the voltage isnt being split ... its just going to one bulb... so i was wondering ...how i can tweak the voltage settings or how i can get some 5 dollar bulbs that will do the same trick for me...
Next.... i want to my lights to look brighter and look brighter..... something like the bimmer headlights...oh gosh i love those.... now what i dont know is how hid works and what it does to accept and not accept some of the bulbs out there... and i dont know what kind of bulbs i can just stick in my headlight housing without any change and make the difference in the look or the brightness of the light.... so can you inform me on this headlight issue....
Once again i would like to spend very little to get some cool (maybe blue) looking lights (if they are brighter than good but i dont want it to be worse than stock) so whats out there for me

if you have the stock light casings, go with slyvania silverstars, its a noticable brighter than the regular bulbs, like a whitetint , no blue, or if you get tomse of those modded light cases from ebay try getting some hyperwhite bulbs, lok for ones that say Ice blue or something like that

dude you know what headlights look awesome on 240SX's? 300ZX head lights. They look soooo sweet. man for your headlights to go brighter you'll have to buy some new good ones. i like those blue ones. the ones when you see on the road your like "nice car nice car nice car" then it passes and its an aoudi or a bmw or a tercel or something...man i love tercels.

if you want hid bulbs you not only need the bulb but a ballast to power it [for each bulb], you're gonna end up spending at least 400, 500.

buy something to limit the voltage for faster blinkage..hmm..iuno..buy a lil resistor to limit the voltage and put it on the hot wire going to blinkers and since they are wired in parallel..it might work for both.

There's 2 ways I know of to speed up your turns.

1. There is a lil box you can buy that actually controls the speed of your signals, you can turn it up or down. Not sure of the price, but you can find them on ebay.

2. The poor mans solution. Go to the ricey section of AutoZone and they sell led's that you can use as blinkers, and they speed all your turn signals. I put a pair in my rear signals and all four now flash like they just snorted a rail. Id go with this method.

i dont know if this will help you out, but i just quit at a Auto parts store.. somethin that we wernt allowed to say to the customers is that the silverstar's are only rated to last ~3600 hours in standard conditions..

we had atleast 40 returns within 2 months of purchase, ( yes they where installed correctly )

google it up,

I got projectors with 4100k hids sitting here from a 2004 7 series sitting here waiting to go into my prelude headlights, but I crashed it

from my experience silverstars aren't that great and only last at the maximum 3-6 months. but they were H1 bulbs. don't know what bulb goes in the 240 sx, but I'll probably own mine today and see
