Ever since I got the car (2months ago) it has been smoking when starting off in first, and changing gears.It also smokes alootttt when rev it up around 3000 RPM or more. (White smoke) Anybody have an idea? I feel embarass when someone is behind me at a redlight. :-/

rings, valve stem seals,ect. Might be time for a rebuild. Check you comp while your at it. If its pretty low(under 150) put little drops on oil into the cylinder and recheck comp. If its raised then your rings are ****ed. haha.

Mabey your burning coolant instead. So theres lot of things to check. like a worn intake mani gasket, **** like that.

in general this is what i learned,

white smoke=blown headgasket
white smoke with a sort of blue tint=burning oil
black smoke=running a bit too rich

Id say start with
compression check
valve stem seals
intake mani
maybe even the head gasket....

mine started smokin a few days ago also...
