Looking for some good reading material...

Hi everyone,

I'm new to this forum and the 240 scene. I was wondering if anyone knew of some good reference books i could start reading about 240sx models or Silvia's. Most of all the books I've found are in Japanese.

As far as what kind of information i was looking for is maybe Basic's, history, Techincal guides. Pretty much anything i can get my hands on to better my knowledge of 240 models and Silvia's.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks

-Mike

wikipedia.org should cover most of the stuff you wanna learn about I dunno of any books or magazines that could be easily purchsed with all of that info that isn't in Japanese, so just find out all the basics on google or forum FAQ's. But overall everything should be at wikipedia

Don't get an FSM just yet, although this will eventually become closer to you than your first born child, it's costly for an actual FSM(not that stupid **** sold at your local kragens). And considering it's in the range of 50-80 dollars for a real FSM (what I consider commitment money), you won't be needing this unless you do some real work like swapping motors or having to deal with a lot of your wiring. So for now, just take a good look online

yeah don't even bother getting the Chilton's Manual. it combines like 4 unrelated cars into one book. its mostly for the stanza, barely any help with the 240.
i'm talking about http://www.club240.com/forums/showthread.php?t=34805

Thanks a bunch guys, yea i dont plan on gettting a FSM just yet. Im still working on my garage at home so most of plans are headed toward having a place to work first rather then going head first into a swap or anything than basic care.

Thanks again, see ya around
