different brake pad material?

I just ordered some cross drilled and slotted rotors and i want to put new brake pads on when I install the rotors. What i wanna know what is the difference between semi-metallic, ceramic, and organic???? What is the best??

Doing research is pretty easy.

You need to pick pads based upon your driving.

You gonna race, street drive or what?

does it matter? what stops better?? price doesnt matter just want best performance, it will be street and race

The problem with that line of thinking is if you go too high performance, you'll end up chewing your rotors. If you put racing pads on your street car you'll wind up hitting someone because you'll rarely get them up to their operating temprature. It's extremely important to pick the right pads for your application. Just as you wouldn't go with an unsprung triple plate clutch for stop & go traffic, you don't want to go overkill in your brakes. If you're looking for a good street application, try EBC Greenstuff or anything equivelant. That would be a good application for mostly street with some racing.
